Hey do you guys think that website such as www.meTeen.com which allow you to meet other teens based on picking out the hot ones to talk to are degrading to society? Like, I signed up for meTeen the other day and I find myself only talking to the really hot teens. What do you think?? -John |

hey
i woudln't say they're degrading because you'll naturally start talking to someone you're attracted to, but if you would rather get to know that person without seeing their pic first why not meet somebody at a forum or on another chat thing

I do think it is degrading to teenagers, a lot are going through 'am I pretty enough?' 'am I attractive enough?' as it is, why add more pressure through a site, where you only talk to 'hot' people, it's not fair on those who have much more inner beauty ... especially those ugly ducklings that turn out to be a swan ... but they can rub that back in your face If no-one talked to me, and told me I was ugly, it'd certainly make me think twice about how I look. |
